District Chief Executive Richard Wullo detailed progress in local infrastructure, noting the completion and ongoing construction of several educational facilities, alongside the official absorption of the Wechiau Community Day Senior High School into a TVET institution. With the support of Member of Parliament Peter Toobu and private organizations, 35 boreholes were successfully delivered in the first quarter of the year. The district disbursed GHC 212,000 to 66 Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) to support their livelihoods. Richard Wullo appealed to community members to stop mounting illegal speed humps.
Wa West District Commander ASP Seth Osei requested that the assembly construct standard speed ramps to force vehicles to slow down.
