Red tape could cost Ghana the carbon investment boom - Annoh-Dompreh
Frank Annoh-Dompreh, Minority Chief Whip and Nsawam-Adoagyiri MP, warned on Thursday in Parliament that Ghana risks missing out on a fast-growing global carbon investment market if bureaucracy and regulatory uncertainty slow approvals. He stated, "This is a significant national opportunity."

He also stated that Ghana has recorded dozens of mitigation activities across the energy, agriculture, forestry, and transport sectors, proving that "the foundations exist." He urged the government to provide greater policy certainty.
