NDC Is a Reflection Of Scam -Minority Chief Whip
Frank Annoh-Dompreh, Minority Chief Whip and Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, described the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration as a "scam" on Monday, May 18, 2026 at the Accra City Hotel. He said, "This is the reflection of the scam of the NDC government."
Mr. Annoh-Dompreh stated that the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) had distinguished itself as a "Mighty Minority" despite its reduced numbers in Parliament. He said the caucus had repositioned itself following the party's defeat in the last general elections and was now "stronger, more agile and well informed," ahead of the 2028 elections. He cited the return of power outages, popularly known as "Dumsor" and the reduction in cocoa producer prices, as evidence of poor governance and economic mismanagement.
Mr. Annoh-Dompreh praised members of the Minority Caucus for their resilience and commitment over the past 16 months, despite political attacks and the loss of one of their colleagues in Parliament. He revealed that the caucus had instituted mentorship programmes for first-time MPs and strengthened committee work to improve parliamentary performance and public communication.
