Mantrac Ghana champions industrial local skills development through world-class CRC facility
Mantrac Ghana demonstrated its commitment to operational excellence and customer-focused innovation by successfully hosting industry stakeholders at the 2026 Mantrac Component Rebuild Centre (CRC) Experience at its facility in Biakakrom, Western Region. The event, themed "Powering Progress", offered guests an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the safety standards, technical expertise, and local talent powering the Mantrac CRC. The CRC Experience opened with a welcome from the Mantrac Ghana leadership team, who highlighted the CRC's strategic role in helping customers achieve more cost-effective, reliable, and long-lasting equipment performance.
The event brought together government officials, traditional leaders, and industry players. Attendees included the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah; Deputy Minister of Transport and Jomoro MP, Dorcas Affo-Toffey; Western Regional Minister, Joseph Nelson; CEO of the Minerals Commission of Ghana, Isaac Andrews Tandoh; Member of Parliament, Mavis Kuukua Bissue; CEO of the Ghana Chamber of Mines, Dr. Kenneth Ashigbey; Director for Policy, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation at the Ministry of Transport, Eric Tetteh-Addison; Municipal Chief Executive, Ebenezer Aidoo; and traditional leaders, including Nana Asabre III of Biankakrom, Nana Kra Kojo II of Ewusiejoe, and Nana Nwinwa Nwinwa IV of Hotopo. Also in attendance was Abdul-Aziz Jenku Seidu, Special Aide to the Deputy Minister of Transport. Guests were briefed on Mantrac's mission to strengthen Ghana's industrial ecosystem through skills development, technology investment, and Caterpillar-certified processes.
