OSP tightens grip as Adjenim Boateng Adjei's trial moves forward
Adjenim Boateng Adjei's trial moved forward following court proceedings on Friday, March 27, 2026. The defence completed its cross-examination of Prosecution Witness Three (PW3). The prosecution indicated "that it would not be re-examining the witness, and the court subsequently discharged PW3."
Adjenim Boateng Adjei faces eight charges, including abuse of public office for personal gain and manipulating procurement processes to secure undue benefits. The allegations relate to activities between March 2017 and August 2019. In 2024, he was also charged in connection with Talent Discovery Limited (TDL). His dismissal by then-President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo followed the 2019 investigative documentary, "Contracts for Sale," based on recommendations from the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ).
The prosecution will call Prosecution Witness Four (PW4) at the next sitting to give evidence-in-chief. The case was adjourned to March 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. for the continuation of the trial.
