B.E.C.E candidates urged to avoid malpractice as Aduwamase Old Students donate learning materials
Mensah Francis, President of the Aduwamase Old Students Association (ASA), advised candidates preparing for this year's Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) to stay focused and avoid any form of examination malpractice. This occurred during a donation exercise to final-year pupils of Aduwamase D/A Basic School in the Atwima Kwanwoma District. He stated, "Don't panic. The questions are from what you've been taught. Just stay focused and avoid any form of malpractice."
The ASA donated mathematical sets, pens, and rulers to the candidates as part of its annual support program. Augustine Baah Donkor, a teacher at the school, described the gesture as timely. He said, "The provision of these items has eased the burden on parents and will ensure all candidates are well-equipped for the examination." Some candidates expressed appreciation, saying the donation had boosted their confidence.
The examination is scheduled to run from May 4 to May 11, 2026.
