Young man found dead under mysterious circumstances in Kwadaso
Vincent Amo Amponsah, a nurse trainee, was found dead at his residence in Kwadaso in the Ashanti Region under circumstances his family describes as mysterious. He is believed to have died about three days before his body was discovered in the hall of his home. The body was released to the family on Saturday, July 18, and deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) Mortuary.
The cause of death remains unknown, and police have made no arrests. Family members reported a sponge was found tied around Vincent's neck, with his tongue reportedly protruding. They rejected suggestions of suicide, arguing there was no structure for hanging, and believe foul play due to bloodstains on the hall walls. Police stated investigations are ongoing, and two mobile phones belonging to the deceased were recovered and taken into custody for examination.
