Wife allegedly butchers husband in deadly fight over charcoal money
Kweku Blankson was allegedly killed by his wife on Wednesday in a farming community in the Ekumfi District of the Central Region. Isaac Panyin Mensah, a resident of Ekumfi Asaman, said "While the man was asleep yesterday, the woman went to their kitchen, took the husband's sharpened cutlass, and started butchering the husband while he was asleep."
The suspect, identified as Auntie Esi, 40, reportedly attacked her husband following a dispute over the finances of their joint charcoal business.
