Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang called for greater recognition of the often-overlooked contributions of women who work behind the scenes in schools, stating that cooks, drivers, matrons, and other support staff play an essential role in shaping students and should be appreciated alongside teachers and school administrators. Public Relations Officer of the Wesley Girls' Old Girls Association (OGA), Joyce Meyers, appealed to alumni and corporate organisations to support the school's continued development, stating that institutions with enduring legacies thrive because successive generations choose to invest in and maintain them. Wesley Girls' High School, founded in 1836, has grown into one of Ghana's premier second-cycle institutions.
