Wangara Krom residents appeal for removal of abandoned vehicle from Bogoso road
Wangara Krom residents appealed to Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Dr. Mathew Kofi Ayeh to urgently remove an abandoned vehicle from the roadside along the Bogoso-Wangara Krom stretch. The vehicle has been at the location for between three and four months, creating a serious safety concern for motorists and pedestrians. Residents stated the abandoned vehicle has become an obstruction to traffic, forcing motorists to manoeuvre around it and exposing road users to potential accidents.
The residents expressed concern that the longer the vehicle remains, the greater the risk it poses to commuters, particularly at night or during periods of poor visibility. The appeal has also been extended to the Ghana National Fire Service, the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Ghana Police Service, and other relevant authorities. Some residents who spoke to Nhyiraba Kwadwo Owusu Aduomi urged authorities to treat the matter as an emergency.
