Tonto Dikeh confessed during a ministration in Tanzania that she "joined a cult and worked so hard for the demon." This confession occurred after the former Nollywood actress "recently gave her life to Christ."

Dikeh claimed to have been involved in many demonic activities while speaking about her journey in the movie and entertainment industry, noting that she dedicated her life to the work of demons. She stated, "In the dark world I once lived in, I was involved in many wrong things. I gave myself fully to it." She also said, "I knew that path, and I knew it had nothing good left for me. But today, God said no. God stepped in and saved me."

Dikeh stated, "The devil has lost this battle, I don't care what you think, I don't care what they say, this is God. In the midst of trying to navigate life in the wicked world that I came from, I had put my hands into so many dirty things. And did filthy things." She added, "I know who he is, and I know that he doesn't have anything over me anymore. And today, God said no, mercy said no. I'll take you back and clean you up."
