Van Vicker fires back at Lil Win over 'cancelled movie role' claim
Van Vicker responded to claims by Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win that he backed out of an upcoming movie project at the last minute. Lil Win had expressed frustration in a video, accusing Van Vicker of disappointing him after allegedly declining a role shortly before filming was scheduled to begin. The original shooting dates conflicted with his schedule, prompting the production team to propose alternative dates. Van Vicker agreed to check his availability and requested the scripts before making a final commitment. After reviewing his existing engagements, he informed the director several days before the proposed shoot that he would not be available. Producers subsequently tried to accommodate his schedule by reducing his expected shooting period from about three or four days to two, but he still could not commit because of prior engagements. He therefore rejected the suggestion that he had cancelled a confirmed appearance at the eleventh hour, maintaining that no final agreement had been reached for him to join the production.
