Two arrested in connection with Bolgatanga highway attacks
The Ghana Police Service arrested two suspected armed robbers on May 9, 2026 in Kumasi. They further mentioned another accomplice, Araafat, both of whom are currently at large.
Police investigators say efforts are ongoing to track down the remaining suspects, including individuals suspected of supplying firearms to the gang. The two arrested suspects are currently in custody assisting with investigations. Authorities are also pursuing leads to recover stolen items and identify additional accomplices.
