TTAG rejects 7,000 teacher recruitment, demands broader intake

The Association further called on the Ministry of Finance and the President to review the recruitment numbers upward and demonstrate commitment to tackling rising unemployment among trained teachers. The TTAG warned it will not remain silent as uncertainty and delays continue to affect the prospects of trained teachers, insisting that the issue goes beyond numbers to questions of fairness, trust, and the credibility of Ghana's teacher education system.
