Touch A Life Foundation marks 10 years with donation to Northern Regional Hospital
Touch A Life Foundation marked 10 years with a donation to the Northern Regional Hospital in Tamale, focusing on the maternity and labour wards. According to Apostle Cleophas Quobby Asante, the donation formed part of activities to celebrate the organization's 10th anniversary of impacting lives across communities. Apostle Asante explained, "We believe strongly in impacting society, and when it comes to nation-building, women and children play a key role. Supporting the maternity ward means we are directly contributing to life and growth."
The donation included essential medical supplies such as syringes, needles, detergents, plasters, and giving sets, aimed at supporting the hospital's day-to-day operations. The Medical Superintendent of the Northern Regional Hospital, Dr. (Med) Richard Anthony, expressed gratitude to the foundation, describing the gesture as timely and impactful. Dr. Anthony said, "We are very grateful for this kind support from Touch A Life Foundation," and added, "These are everyday consumables that are crucial to our work, especially in the maternity and labour wards. They will go a long way to support quality healthcare delivery."
Dr. Anthony used the opportunity to call on individuals, corporate bodies, and other organizations to support the hospital. He said, "Government is doing its part, but it cannot do everything. We appeal to the public and well-meaning Ghanaians to come on board and support the hospital. This facility serves as a major referral center, so any support here has a wide-reaching impact."
