Thousands attend late Apostle Kwadwo Safo's thanksgiving service in Kumasi
Apostle Kwadwo Safo's thanksgiving service was held in Kumasi following final funeral rites that commenced in Accra on July 30 and 31. The service, held at the Prempeh Assembly Hall, was attended by thousands of Kristo Asafo members and Kumasi residents, along with dignitaries, church members, sympathisers, and well-wishers from across the country. Adwoa Safo, his daughter, along with her siblings and other family members, were present.
Some Kristo Asafo members expressed appreciation to Adwoa Safo and her siblings for organising a "befitting final farewell." One member stated, "Honestly, we are happy that we have been able to bring our father's funeral rites to a successful end here in Kumasi and today the rainbow symbol appears in the sky symbolising Apostle Kwadwo Safo was indeed an African star. All praise and honour be to God for His wonders. We also thank and bless Adwoa Safo for her boldness and determination to give her father a befitting final farewell." Security personnel were deployed at the venue to maintain peace and order.
