Tafo Government Hospital children's ward 85% complete ahead of my 45th birthday - Nana B

Henry Nana Boakye announced that the construction of a 30-bed Children's Ward at the Tafo Government Hospital has reached 85 per cent completion. He described the project as the fulfillment of a personal commitment he made five years ago, on the eve of his 40th birthday, to contribute meaningfully to healthcare delivery. He stated, "Five years ago, on the eve of my 40th birthday, I made a personal commitment to God to fulfil one of the deepest desires of my heart: to facilitate the construction of a 30-bed Children's Ward."

The initiative was inspired by the poor state of the existing children's ward at the Tafo Government Hospital, which was a major concern for the Ghana Health Service and residents. Nana B explained that the hospital was chosen due to the urgent need to improve paediatric healthcare infrastructure. He recently visited the construction site and was encouraged by the progress, noting the project is now 85 per cent complete. He described watching the facility take shape over the past five years as one of the most rewarding experiences of his life.
