Some Mahama ministers have been rendered redundant - Afenyo-Markin
Alexander Afenyo-Markin, Minority Leader and Member of Parliament for Effutu, questioned the relevance of some ministerial portfolios under the Mahama administration on Friday, 17 July, on Joy FM's Super Morning Show. He argued that certain ministers have effectively been rendered redundant, specifically stating, "But what I will say is that some ministers have been rendered redundant. Mr. Afenyo-Markin declined to single out the government's worst-performing minister, stating it would be unfair. He also expressed concern about the Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment, arguing it has not been adequately resourced to deliver on its mandate. He referred to the minister as "Pablo" and maintained that the ministry's current limitations were preventing it from achieving expected results.
