Semenyo hails Maresca style of play as 'music to my ears'
Antoine Semenyo hailed new manager Enzo Maresca's style of play as "music to my ears" after showcasing early signs of his role under the Italian. City were defeated on penalties by Inter Milan in Maresca's first game in charge in Hong Kong. Semenyo played the opening 45 minutes and helped set up Divin Mubama's goal for City.
Semenyo stated that when Maresca was appointed, he thought about playing Chelsea previously when Maresca was there, and his wide men were always high and quite free. He said this excited him the most as a winger, as he gets to have one-v-one situations most of the game. Semenyo has had individual meetings with Maresca on how he wants to set up and play his wide men. Semenyo joined City from Bournemouth for £65m in the January transfer window.
