Sacred Crown Awards reaffirms fairness as nominee verification continues

Sacred Crown Awards organisers are undertaking further verification and stakeholder engagement to ensure fairness and integrity in this year's nomination process. In a statement signed by Enoch Owusu Kissi, Lead, Communications & Public Affairs, the Awards team said the additional review follows the official announcement of nominees and is part of its commitment to "accuracy, appropriate representation, and the overall integrity of the Awards." Adjustments have been made to selected categories to ensure proper categorisation and to accurately reflect the standing, experience, and contributions of nominees.

Updated nominee lists and official flyers will be published through the Awards' official communication platforms in due course. A one-week correction and omission window remains open for genuine administrative errors, covering mistakes relating to names, titles, organisations, designations, categories, and other publication errors. Organisers clarified that this period "does not constitute a reopening of nominations." All submissions received within the stipulated period will be reviewed before any official amendments are made. The Sacred Crown Awards, an initiative of His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, Ga Mantse and President of the Ga Traditional Council, is expected to be held on 31 October 2026.
