Renowned herbalist burnt to death in Kasoa house fire

Elder Dr. Felix Antwi Dankwa, a renowned herbalist, was burnt to death in a fire incident at his residence at Kasoa New Town in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region around 1 a.m. on Tuesday. He was the Chief Executive Officer of Antwi Herbal and Spiritual Centre and was said to have been asleep with his wife when the incident occurred.

Sources indicate that Dr. Felix Antwi Dankwa and his wife had allegedly been facing marital problems and were reportedly in the process of seeking a divorce. They had a confrontation in front of the Kasoa DOVVSU office, where they allegedly exchanged blows. The matter was brought before the DOVVSU Commander, who could not resolve the dispute, and the couple was asked to return to the police station today at about 9 a.m. for further action. His wife and other occupants were not affected by the fire. The Kasoa Divisional Police Command has invited the deceased's wife to assist with investigations.
