Pay GH¢60,000 for sleeping with your own wife - Man faces shocking demand
Kofi Seidu faces a shocking demand after allegedly sleeping with his own wife. He is being asked to pay GH¢60,000 for sleeping with Akua Abrefi.
Kofi Seidu and Akua Abrefi have been entangled in a complicated marital dispute and have three children together. Akua allegedly cheated on Kofi with a galamsey operator named Bismark. Kofi invoked the Antoa shrine to curse the man, who later apologised and compensated Kofi with GH¢20,000. Akua declared she would no longer continue with the marriage, but there has been no official dissolution. Akua visited Kofi with their children, and they had an intimate encounter. Subsequently, Akua accused him of sleeping with her despite their separation and claimed she was now married to the galamseyer. Akua has also denied some of the allegations saying that Kofi had told her he wasn't interested in the marriage any more.
The galamsey operator, who had earlier compensated Kofi, is now demanding three times the amount (GH¢60,000), arguing that since Kofi took money from him for sleeping with Akua while she was married, he should also pay compensation for sleeping with her as she is now engaged to him. Kofi explained, "She has summoned me to queen mothers, saying I slept with her after our breakup. The man claims that since I took GH¢20,000 from him, he will now take GH¢60,000 from me." His confusion and frustration over the matter led him to seek help on the programme Oyerepa Afutuo.
