Paramount chief appeals to gov't to build new regional hospital in Jirapa
Naa Dinaa Donglabong Ganaa III, the Paramount Chief of the Jirapa Traditional Area, issued an appeal to the government to select Jirapa as the location for the new Upper West Regional Hospital at the grand durbar of the 2026 Bong-Ngo festival at the Jirapa Naa Yelpoe II Park. Cletus Seidu Dapilah, the Member of Parliament for the Jirapa Constituency, pledged to cover exam-related expenses for basic schools and committed to donating 160 bedsheets to the St. Joseph Hospital. Charles Lwanga Puozuing, the Upper West Regional Minister, called for unity and shared responsibility.
