Family members and close associates were present, and her brothers paid their last respects to their late "Akonta." Daddy Lumba's family also outdoored his cousin to represent them in Odo Broni's family as part of traditional arrangements. The highlife legend died on July 26, 2025, at The Bank Hospital in Accra after a brief illness at the age of 60.
