Obuasi court remands 2 teachers over alleged attack on SHS headmaster
Kwasi Brefo, 41, and Joseph Appiah Arthur, 34, were remanded into police custody for one week on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, by the Obuasi Circuit Court. They are charged with two counts of abetment under the Criminal and Other Offences Act, 1960, over allegations they incited students to attack the Obuasi Senior High Technical School's headmaster. Headmaster Abdulai Iddrisu, who sustained machete injuries, has been discharged from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
