Mahama family marks Women's Ministry Day at Ringway Gospel Church
Nana Oye Bampoe Addo represented President John Dramani Mahama and Mrs Lordina Mahama to mark the 2026 Women's Ministry Day celebration at the Ringway Gospel Assemblies of God Church. Nana Oye stated, "On behalf of the President and our mother, Mrs Lordina Mahama, I bring you warm greetings and congratulations to the Women's Ministry." She also said the President told her, "'Nana, you have to be at the Women's Ministry Week celebrations at Ringway Gospel Church and represent us fully.'"
Hon. Nana Oye encouraged the women with Hebrews 11:1, explaining that the verse is "a survival guide for the modern woman navigating family pressures, health challenges, caregiving, church commitments, and a rapidly changing world." Rev. Mrs Gladys Abu-Baba, National Director of the Women's Ministry, urged the women to remain steadfast in faith.
After the event, Hon. Nana Oye Bampoe Addo led a delegation from the Lordina Foundation to commission a refurbished female washroom, donated by Mrs Mahama. The upgraded facility features four new water closets, three handwash basins, an air conditioner, mirrors, and other accessories. Women's Ministry leaders, including National Director Rev. Mrs Gladys Abu-Baba, Rev. Mrs Grace Tettey, and their team, expressed deep gratitude to Mrs Mahama and the Lordina Foundation.
