Kessben FM yanks DJ K.A. 'off air' over intimate video circulated online; Investigation underway

Rexford Kwadwo Adu Ntim, known as DJ K.A, was suspended by Kessben Media following the circulation of an intimate video on social media. In a statement issued on July 24, 2026, Kessben Media management stated it "does not condone such acts" and dissociated its brand from the staff member's actions. DJ K.A has been asked to stay off duty while an internal investigation is ongoing and will receive counselling, rehabilitation, and legal assistance where necessary.

Kessben Media appealed to the public to refrain from sharing the sensitive material, citing cybersecurity implications and existing laws. Sources in Kumasi indicate a pendrive containing several personal recorded intimate videos of DJ K.A, separate from what was already circulated, was forwarded to Kessben management. DJ K.A issued a public apology, taking full responsibility for recording the video but denying intentional circulation. He stated, "I take full responsibility for my actions. Recording the video was a serious error in judgment, and I deeply regret the decision that led to this unfortunate incident." He also described the footage as "part of my past" recorded four years ago.
