Samuel Atta Akyea, lead counsel for Dennis Miracles Aboagye, dismissed claims that his client was interrogated by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) over alleged GH¢55 million financial and procurement-related irregularities. He stated on Adom FM's Dwaso Nsem morning show that he was present throughout the interrogation and that "He was not interrogated concerning the charges contained in EOCO's statement. He suggested linking Mr. Aboagye to the GH¢55 million allegations was an attempt to create a negative public perception, calling it "just propaganda that is bad." EOCO informed them they would be invited again for further discussions on other issues.
