How to check 2026 WASSCE Private First Series results
The West African Examinations Council has announced the release of provisional results for candidates who sat the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination for Private Candidates, First Series. Candidates can access their results online through the official WAEC Ghana portal at https://ghana.waecdirect.org. A WAEC results voucher is required to view the official results.
The voucher can be purchased by dialing *713*3998# or by visiting https://buycheckercodes.com.gh. To check the results on a phone, candidates must open the web browser on their phone and visit the WASSCE result checking portal: https://ghana.waecdirect.org. They must then enter their Index Number, select the Examination Type, and choose the Examination Year (2026). Candidates must also enter the Serial Number and the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) from their Result Voucher. After verifying that the Index Number and Examination Year are correct, they must click on the Submit button and agree to the consent agreement by clicking "Agree".
WAEC has cautioned candidates and the public to be wary of fraudsters who claim they can upgrade results for a fee. The Council says candidates should rely only on official channels when checking their results.
