Government reaffirms commitment to developing Ghana's shea industry
Julius Debrah, Chief of Staff, pledged on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama that he would lead the planting of a shea tree at the Jubilee House to mark Shea Month. According to Mr. Debrah, greater collaboration would help maximize the industry's potential and improve the livelihoods of communities, particularly women, who depend on shea production. He expressed confidence that sustained investment and stronger partnerships would position Ghana as a leading player in the global shea economy, creating sustainable employment opportunities, promoting inclusive economic growth, and improving incomes for thousands of people engaged in the shea value chain.
