Firefighters attended to a vehicular accident involving a SINO tipper truck along the Peki-Asikuma Road and rescued two male victims.
Later that day, the fire crew responded to a domestic fire outbreak at Asikuma Zongo where a three-bedroom thatch-roofed house had been engulfed by flames. Firefighters managed to confine and extinguish the blaze before it spread to nearby buildings.
