Glasgow 2026: NPC Ghana deploys four accredited media officers at Commonwealth Games
National Paralympic Committee (NPC) Ghana is sponsoring four accredited Administrative Media Officers to provide comprehensive coverage of Team Ghana's participation at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. The officers will depart for Scotland on Monday, 20 July 2026. The officers are Michael Obeng, Administrative Media Officer for the Para Swimming Association; Bill Eshun, Administrative Media Officer for the Para Powerlifting Association; Prince Andrew Dornu Leiku and Theophilus Sampah, NPC Ghana Media-Level Administrative Officers.
The four officers, accredited by the Commonwealth Games organizers, will provide minute-by-minute reports, photographs, videos, interviews, feature stories, and behind-the-scenes coverage of Ghana's Paralympic contingent. This deployment marks a milestone in NPC Ghana's pioneering Media Administrative Officers Programme, launched in 2025 under the leadership of NPC Ghana and African Paralympic Committee President, Mr. Samson Deen. The initiative previously saw the appointment of 38 journalists to various para sport federations and the NPC Ghana Communications Department.
