Fire Oja speaks after thugs storm his church service
Prophet Jedidiah Henry Kore, known as Fire Oja, spoke after a group of individuals stormed his church premises during an ongoing service. He explained that tensions escalated after a ruling at Nai We, prompting him to leave the palace, and that he later saw a video on social media by the chiefs, directing him to pay GH¢72,000 and perform certain rituals. According to Fire Oja, "When they came to the church, they said Nai We had ordered them to bring me."
The preacher said the issue began with a misunderstanding between himself and a socialite identified as Ola Maame, who allegedly summoned him to Nai We over claims of defamation. He reported the matter to the Nungua Chief, who indicated that Nai We had no authority to summon him and that Nai We had already taken GH¢9,000 from him. Fire Oja alleged that the group destroyed church property, including lights and LED equipment, took money from the altar, and broke chairs.
Fire Oja reported the incident to the police and submitted his statement. He stated, "All I am demanding is the return of the money taken and compensation for the damaged equipment."
