Fire destroys room and damages home at Teshie Penny
A domestic fire destroyed the contents of a room and caused significant damage to parts of a residential property at Teshie Penny in the Ledzokuku Municipality on the evening of July 29. The GNFS noted that the blaze completely gutted one room, reducing all its contents to ashes, including household items, furniture, and other personal belongings. The hall and kitchen of the house sustained partial fire and smoke damage. Emergency crews prevented the fire from engulfing the entire building and from spreading to nearby residential buildings. Firefighters successfully salvaged the remaining portions of the affected house.
