Elder Frank Donkor recounts last encounter with sons 5 minutes to fatal crash
Elder Frank Donkor recounted the final moments he shared with his sons before a light aircraft crash in Tema. According to Elder Donkor, "Just five minutes before the crash, my son shared their location with me. They told me they were at Tema."
The elder son, Captain Frank Amoaning Donkor, 36, was piloting the aircraft and had just returned from Ho after securing a multimillion-dollar contract for a pilot school and university. The brothers called Elder Donkor before takeoff to announce their plans. The light aircraft, registered 9G-ADV, crashed within the premises of the TMA Day Care Centre before catching fire. Both occupants suffered severe burns and died as a result of the incident. Elder Donkor expressed gratitude to God and extended appreciation to the President for arranging a state burial.
Elder Donkor invited his congregation to attend his sons' funeral on Saturday, March 28.
