EOCO ordered the freezing of the company's bank accounts on November 20, 2025. Kwamigah-Atokple maintains his company complied with all requests and that by November 2025, at least 58% of the contracted gold had already been delivered under the agreement covering June 2025 to June 2026. The High Court, Adentan ruled on March 19, 2026, that EOCO had acted without lawful mandate and ordered the immediate defreezing of the company's accounts.

Kwamigah-Atokple accuses EOCO of defying the Court by continuing its investigation and publicly challenging the judgment. He alleges that Archer declared him a wanted person without a formal invitation. Kwamigah-Atokple argues that EOCO has developed a pattern of prioritising public sensationalism over lawful enforcement since Archer assumed office.
