CAC Pastor calls for support for brilliant but needy students in Ahafo Region
Reverend Daniel Okyere Philix, Head Pastor of the Christ Apostolic Church in Dzodze in the Volta Region, made an appeal to financially well-off individuals in the Ahafo Region to support brilliant but needy students to secure a better future for them. This appeal was made at Nkaseim in the Ahafo Region.
Reverend Philix emphasized the importance of identifying and supporting students who are both talented and in need, stating that "such support is crucial for the development of their communities, the region, and the country as a whole." He shared that he grew up in a poor household in Nkaseim, and without the support he received from others, he would not have been able to realise his potential as an author.
The call to action came during the launch of his books. The Sompahene of Nkaseim, Nana Yaw Sarpong, along with Paul Appiagyei Nyantakyi, echoed the need to assist brilliant but needy individuals, particularly those from remote areas in the region, to help them achieve their dreams. They emphasized that support should not be limited to family members; anyone who is brilliant and in need should be considered for assistance to help nurture their talents.
