Barimah (Dr) Kwabena Awuah I, Chief of Akyem Sokode Dwaso, officially swore the Oath of Allegiance to the Okyenhene, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin, on Friday, July 31, 2026, at the Ofori Panin Fie in Akyem Kyebi. This customary process affirms his recognition as chief within the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Area. Barimah (Dr) Kwabena Awuah I is the chief of Sokode Dwaso, a suburb of Akyem Kukurantumi in the Abuakwa North Municipality of the Eastern Region.
