Akyem Pameng Chief hands over renovated school block, ancillary facilities to community
Barima Okoto Danso II, Chief of Akyem Pameng in the Atiwa West District of the Eastern Region, commissioned and handed over a renovated three-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities to the Akyem Pameng Presbyterian Basic School. He stated that he sold his personal vehicle to raise funds to complete the rehabilitation project, reaffirming his commitment to improving education, which he described as the foundation of community development.
Barima Okoto Danso II appealed to the Ghana Education Service (GES) to deploy more teachers to the school. Mr. Tei Ateh Michael, Headmaster of Akyem Pameng Presbyterian Basic School, commended the chief for supporting the project, describing it as a major boost to the school's infrastructure and quality education. He assured the chief and parents that teachers would remain committed to delivering their best to improve learning outcomes.
