She appealed to the government, the Birim Central Municipal Assembly, and other stakeholders for intervention to rehabilitate the school and provide a safe environment. Teaching and non-teaching staff also shared concerns, stating the dilapidated condition of classrooms makes effective teaching and learning difficult, and appealed for renovation to protect lives and improve academic activities.
