Accra Premium Lions Club, in collaboration with Lions Clubs International, Brooklyn District 20-K1, supported more than 500 pupils of the Reverend Father Henry Roman Catholic Basic School at Obom in the Greater Accra Region with educational materials and free health screening. This initiative was organized under the club's "Touching Lives Through Service" programme. The pupils received books, pens, pencils, shoes, and medicated lenses, and also benefited from free health screening and eye examinations.
Lucy Gyata, Immediate Past President of the Accra Premium Lions Club, stated, "We decided to support these pupils with some essential educational and health-related items because we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn in a conducive environment and have access to basic healthcare." She added that the initiative was part of the club's broader commitment to touching lives through meaningful community service. Health professionals from the Greater Accra Regional Hospital and Empatcaiquo also participated in the event.
