Academic excellence without integrity cannot produce good leaders - Chief Justice
Chief Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie challenged students across the country to embrace integrity, discipline, and justice during the inauguration of Justice Clubs and the swearing-in of newly elected student officers from Senior High Schools in the Ashanti Region. He stressed that "academic excellence without strong moral values cannot produce responsible leaders."
He described the Justice Clubs as an important initiative aimed at nurturing future leaders who will uphold the rule of law and contribute positively to national development. Justice Baffoe-Bonnie noted that education equips students with knowledge, but character determines how that knowledge is used. He reminded the newly sworn-in officers that leadership is defined by service and example, not by titles. He urged the student leaders to serve diligently and remain committed to fairness, responsibility, and respect in their schools and communities.
