72-year-old woman found dead on her farm at Juaboso Nkwanta
Agnes Dwomoh, a 72-year-old woman, was found dead on her farm near Juaboso Nkwanta in the Western North Region. Police in Juaboso District are investigating the death. Yaw Asante, a relative, reported her missing to the Juaboso Police after she left home for her farm and did not return. He later informed officers that she had been found dead on the farm.
Police and family members visited the scene and discovered her lying face down near a tomato and vegetable plantation. A preliminary examination showed no visible signs of violence, but blood was observed around her mouth, and her artificial teeth had come off. Frederick Gyabeng, Assemblyman for Sefwi Juaboso, confirmed the incident to Adom News, noting that "although there were no visible injuries on the body, the circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear."
The body has been conveyed to the Juaboso Government Hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy. Police are preparing coroner's forms to determine the exact cause of death.
